EPL: Allardyce Opens Up On Reason Why West Brom Didn't Sign Musa By Sampson Adedeji Manager of the English premier league side West Bromwich Albion Sam Allardyce has opened up on reason why Nigeria's Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa was not signed, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The former CSKA Moscow winger has been unattached since he departed Saudi Arabia side Al-Nasr by mutual consent in October 2020. He was listed among the free agent players wanted by Allardyce but the move fell through due to some circumstances. " We’d already brought four players in, so it didn’t fall within our budget anymore,” Allardyce explained. More players would have had to have left to have funded that one. It’s a shame that Musa didn’t get in or come in earlier, obviously because of Covid-19 he couldn’t make it. “He may have been one of the four that we brought in, but because he was the fifth it couldn’t get done," he explained.
